At a glance

Glint uses account, profile, interaction, device, and permission-based location information to provide the Service. Other members can see the information you choose to share. You can manage device permissions and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details: sign-in information, account identifiers, age or date of birth, and contact details used for registration or support.
  • Profile information: nickname, photos, interests, preferences, and other details you choose to add.
  • Communications and content: messages, photos, voice or other media you choose to send or upload, and interactions such as likes, matches, and blocks.
  • Purchases: product and order identifiers, purchase status, subscription or entitlement information, and other information needed to verify and deliver a purchase. A store or payment provider handles payment credentials.
  • Support and reports: information you send when requesting help, exercising privacy rights, or reporting a safety concern.

Device and activity information

We may receive device and operating-system information, app version, language, time zone, IP address, connection and usage information, notification tokens, and error or performance information. The Android app uses the Android ID (SSAID) and User-Agent information for device recognition, account security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting. Advertising or attribution identifiers and installation or purchase events may also be processed by the attribution services described below, subject to applicable requirements and device controls.

Location and device permissions

With location permission, Glint may use approximate or precise device location to support nearby discovery, distance information, mapping, or location sharing. You can revoke location permission in your device settings. Location-based features may then be limited or unavailable.

Camera, microphone, and photo access may be requested for features you choose to use, such as taking a profile photo or sending media. Notifications require the relevant platform permissions or settings. You can manage these permissions through your device.

Information from others

Sign-in providers may supply account identifiers and profile details you authorize. Payment providers supply transaction or entitlement information. Other members may provide information about you through messages, interactions, or reports.

2. How we use information

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts.
  • Display profiles, support nearby discovery and preferences, process likes and matches, and deliver conversations and media.
  • Operate notifications, maps, purchases, and support features.
  • Recognize devices and detect fraud, spam, abuse, or unauthorized access.
  • Review reports and enforce our Terms of Service and Child Safety Policy.
  • Diagnose technical issues, measure performance, and improve the Service.
  • Measure installation and campaign attribution or purchase events, subject to applicable privacy requirements and your available choices.
  • Fulfill legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety.

Where additional consent is required for a purpose, we will seek it before using information for that purpose. If you withdraw a permission or consent, the corresponding feature may no longer work.

3. When information is shared

With other members

Information you put on a profile, such as your nickname, photos, age, interests, and approximate distance, may be visible to other members. Messages and media are available to their intended recipients. If you choose to send a location or personal contact information in a conversation, the recipient can see what you share. Do not post information you do not want others to receive.

With service providers

Providers may process information needed for hosting, storage, messaging, notifications, sign-in, maps, purchase verification, attribution, and support. We use appropriate arrangements and safeguards for processing on our behalf, as required by applicable law. The integrations described below are examples relevant to the Android Service; availability and processing depend on the feature and platform.

Provider or servicePurposeRelevant information
Tencent Cloud ChatMessaging and media deliveryUser and conversation identifiers, messages or media sent through chat, and delivery or device metadata.
Firebase Cloud MessagingPush notification deliveryInstallation or push tokens, device and delivery information, and notification payloads.
Google sign-in, Maps, and PlaySign-in, mapping, and Android billingAuthorized account information, mapping and location requests, or transaction information relevant to the feature.
AppsFlyerAttribution, campaign measurement, and related fraud preventionAdvertising or attribution identifiers, device and network information, installation and engagement or purchase events, depending on configuration and applicable permissions.

Provider links describe their own practices. A provider’s general notice may describe capabilities that are not enabled in Glint. Local device storage may also be used to maintain app state and preferences.

For legal, safety, or business reasons

We may disclose information when lawfully required, to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or similar transaction. We will apply any notice, consent, and other protections required by law. We may also disclose information at your direction or with a consent that is required for the disclosure.

4. This website, cookies, and attribution choices

The current informational website does not create member accounts, send real likes or messages, or save the swipe demo’s actions. Its supplied page code does not use advertising or analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts. A hosting provider may process ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, requested page, and request time, to serve and secure the website.

The app is different from the website demo: it uses local storage and the providers described above to support its features. Device advertising settings let you manage or delete a resettable advertising identifier and relevant tracking permissions where your platform offers these controls. Those settings may not stop all processing needed for security or basic operation.

If applicable law gives you a right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain uses of sensitive information, send a request to service@njdingzhichen.top. We will assess and act on requests as required by the law that applies. This website does not use cross-site behavioral advertising.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information for the time needed to provide the Service, support accounts and purchases, resolve disputes, maintain safety and security, and comply with applicable obligations. Retention depends on the category of information and the purpose.

When a verified deletion request is processed, we delete or anonymize associated personal information except for limited information that we are permitted or required to retain, such as records needed for fraud prevention, legal claims, transaction recordkeeping, or other legal obligations. Backup copies may remain for a limited backup lifecycle and are not used to restore a deleted public profile.

For app deletion steps and an email request route, see Request account deletion. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a store-billed subscription. A provider may have separate obligations for information it holds independently.

6. Your choices

  • Use available profile and account settings to update information.
  • Manage location, camera, microphone, photo, tracking, and notification permissions through device settings.
  • Choose what to put on your profile and what to send to others.
  • Use available block or reporting controls and contact us about safety concerns.
  • Request account deletion through Settings → Delete Account or our email deletion route.
  • Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, advertising-related choices, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.

Some information or processing is necessary to provide a feature or protect the Service. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we will explain applicable limitations where required by law.

7. Privacy rights for US and Canadian users

Your rights depend on where you live, the applicable law, and whether its conditions are met. They may include access to information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to a privacy regulator.

United States

Where applicable state law provides them, rights may also include opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, limiting specified uses of sensitive personal information, and appealing a denied request. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising protected privacy rights.

Canada

Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to personal information and information about its use or disclosure, request correction, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern. Withdrawing consent may affect features that require the relevant processing. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial authority if a concern remains unresolved.

How to make a request

Email service@njdingzhichen.top with the subject “Glint privacy request.” Tell us the request and your Glint user ID or sign-in email. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity or an agent’s authority. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, or authentication codes. We respond within applicable statutory deadlines and provide any required notice of an extension or explanation of a denial.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, taking account of the nature of the information and the risks involved. No internet service, device, or transmission is completely secure. Keep sign-in credentials private and contact us if you suspect an account or privacy incident.

We provide notifications about security incidents when required by applicable law. This Policy does not promise end-to-end encryption, a particular certification, or that every message or profile claim has been independently verified.

9. Children and age restrictions

Glint is for adults 18 and older. We do not permit underage accounts. If you believe a minor has provided information or is using the Service, contact service@njdingzhichen.top so that we can review the report, restrict or remove an account where appropriate, and address the associated information as required.

Our Child Safety Policy explains the standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation and the available reporting routes.

10. International processing

The Company is registered in China. Information may be processed in China or in other countries where our providers operate, including outside the United States or Canada. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Information processed there may be subject to lawful requests from courts, law enforcement, or other authorities in that jurisdiction.

We remain responsible for handling information as required by applicable law and use appropriate safeguards for international processing, including contractual or other measures where required. Contact us if you want information about relevant service-provider processing or safeguards.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies this version. We provide notice of material changes and obtain additional consent where required. Continuing to use the Service does not waive a consent or other right that applicable law requires.
